IEEE BalkanCom Conference
As the name suggests, the BalkanCom is held annually in a country of the Balkan Peninsula. The goal of the conference is to bring together researchers in academia, research labs and industry from all over the world to this historical region. The conference addresses the important challenges in the evolving world of Communications and Networking, while at the same time bolstering the potential and talent that is found in this exciting and dynamic region.
Our Science and Innovation Center
The Science and Innovation Center – Ulcinj is a modern educational hub dedicated to empowering children and young people through science, technology, and innovation. Designed as a space where curiosity meets practice, the Center supports hands-on learning, critical thinking, and creativity, preparing new generations for the challenges of the digital age.
As part of the international Bilim Türkiye – Deneyap initiative, the Center offers contemporary programs in robotics, artificial intelligence, programming, electronics, and other applied sciences. Learning is project-based and experiential, encouraging students to turn ideas into real solutions.
The Center was established through a partnership between the Municipality of Ulcinj, TİKA, the T3 Foundation, and the XL LABS Foundation. It represents a strong example of how local vision and international cooperation can create lasting opportunities for youth development.
More than a building, the Science and Innovation Center – Ulcinj is a place where young minds are inspired to learn, innovate, and shape a better future for their community and beyond.
