Our Story

Driving to the edges of knowledge!

The “Excellence Labs” (known also as “XL Labs”, “Laboratoret e Ekselences”, and “XL Laboratorije”) is a nonprofit organization established on 2019 with the goal to support and drive pursuit for science, knowledge, and technology.

It is governed by the Board of Trustees.

The Foundation is registered on May 15, 2019 by the Ministry of Public Administration of Montenegro nr. 06-006/19-UPI-548/2. (See the official registration here.)

Among its many activities, XL LABs organizes BalkanCom conference, technically sponsored by iEEE.

We aim to

– Support young people and people of all ages who have an affinity for science, technology and research in general;

– Improve scientific research work;

– Encourage technological development;

– Promote problem solving attitudes in all fields;

– Advocate the creation of a culture of business in the field of technology and all fields of science in Montenegro and the region.
